Black Label is an exclusive and exquisite collection of Irish luxury clothing. Designed and created in Cork, our contemporary knitwear is made with pure wool, to traditional Aran standards. Our elegant lace and tulle dresses hark back to a romantic past, whilst retaining a modern edge. All our pieces are unique, enhancing your intrinsic beauty.
Each piece in our collection is unique, from the intricate Aran knitwear to our hand-painted silk. Made locally by experienced craftspeople, our collection consists of tulle, silk, and wool. The juxtaposition of fabrics creates the base of our capsule, culminating in our overarching vision of single, timeless pieces that will work with your existing wardrobe, with the opportunity to add new pieces to complement the elegant originals.
Black Label is an exclusive and exquisite brand which creates avant garde pieces inspired by nature, design, art and life.
All our designs are created by Patricia. Her lifelong passion for fashion and design have led to these collections. She was inspired to create a capsule collection that people could add to over time when she realised the volume of disposable clothing that is produced.
Patricia's vision is that women and men will have an interchangeable capsule wardrobe that can be dressed up or down, to go from work to play.
Black Label works with local expert machinists and hand knitters who hand craft each piece which adds to the uniqueness of all our pieces.
Black Label is passionate about art in all forms, and advocates for and supports artists of all disciplines.
Our team is enthusiastic about design in all its forms ranging from curating exhibitions to collaborating with other artist.
Each piece is handmade locally to the highest standard and where possible, incorporating vintage fabrics.
Working with traditional knitters who hand make each piece to our design and vision.
Growing up in rural Ireland, the designer saw the value of well made clothes that were created to last, and were seen as an investment. She wanted to create edgy and Avant Garde collections that were pieces of wearable art whilst still being functional enough to be worn daily. She has seen a shift towards slow fashion and feels strongly that buy less, buy better is a sustainable and lower waste way to wear clothes in an increasingly waste conscious world.
The designer has always been creative and her career in fashion has been inspired by her life experiences working with food, her travels, art, and people she has met along the way
The new collection is the culmination of our overarching vision - single timeless pieces which will work with your existing wardrobe, each season adding a new piece which will compliment the originals.
